Christmas

Well we have made it to 27 weeks....its crazy how fast it is going by. I cannot believe in just 13 weeks we will meet our little one! We have another ultrasound on the 4th of January so I am hoping to find out the gender, if not looks like we are going with a gender neutral theme for the nursery. We ordered the nursery furniture online yesterday and hopefully it will be here in a week. I cannot wait to put it together and start to see the nursery finally come together as a little room. The baby got a few Christmas presents this year.....the baby is already spoiled. Hopefully I will have more exciting news next week, but if not at least a few pictures of our little one.

24 weeks

Well, I thought I would be writing to tell the gender of our little angel, but once again the little one was shy and modest. Last month it had its legs curled and the most recent one it had its legs crossed and was so comfy in the position it just wouldn't move. Luckily, we get another chance in January so hopefully the third time is a charm, otherwise looks like it might be a surprise at delivery. Everything else is going well with the pregnancy. I have been fighting a cold/sinus infection for the last two weeks, but I think I am finally on the mends (hopefully). I can officially say that I cannot hide my belly anymore, after Thanksgiving it popped and is here to stay for awhile =). Here is a picture of 24 weeks...looks like I am wearing the same outfit, but just a different black tank top and yoga maternity pants (my new favorite pants).

21 weeks

Okay I have lovely friends who have requested to see my baby bump....Let me tell you that in the past week it has sprouted...here it is...I am 21 weeks!!! Since the stubborn little one is being modest...what do you think? How am I carrying? (boy or girl?)

Besides the showing of the baby bump, not much else is new. I am still trying to wear my regular pants (with the a belly band of course) and my students tell me every day, " Mrs. Fox, I think your baby is getting bigger =)." I am feeling great and feeling the baby move more and more every day.

STUBBORN BABY

Well.....we have a stubborn little one on our hands...after about 30-40 minutes of trying to figure out the gender, our little angel was uncooperative. We were unable to find out the gender. Because the baby was in the position it was, I am pleased to announce that we have one more chance on December 5 to look more closely at the heart and hopefully find out the gender...if not then it looks like it is going to be a surprise. We will keep you posted =)

Active One

Just wanted to post that I officially felt the baby move on Sunday, October 30.....the little one must have been excited that it was Katie's birthday. Since then, I feel the little one all the time, its very cool knowing that the little one is growing and so active =)

Belly is officially growing!!!

My belly is officially growing, starting to look more and more pregnant every day, especially over the last 4 or 5 days....still not too sure how I feel about it, but I am excited! Nate and I cannot wait to find out the gender of our little bundle of joy....on the 7th or shortly after I will post pictures of the baby and also of my belly. Any guesses on the gender of the baby?

We are expecting!!!!

Okay, so I am a little late at starting this, but I figure I can backdate and continue from here =). (that's my goal anyways). I thought I would keep a blog/journal so my family and friends that I do not see often will be able to share in this special and exciting adventure that Nate and I are starting to embark in. So, lets back up to the beginning. We found out that we were expecting on July 21 and I was so excited that I woke Nate up at 7:30 to show him the test....he was not enthused. Since then it has gone by so fast. Here are a couple pictures of the little one at our 7 1/2 week appointment (Look how cute the little tyke is already)

After the first appointment I started feeling sick pretty much all day every day, but I knew that was a sign of a healthy baby. At the end of August we went to Florida for a friends wedding and Nate always laughed at my eating habits because there were certain things I definitely could not eat. Our next appointment was my 12 week appointment and everything was looking good...the doctor mentioned how active our little one was already.

The most recent appointment was at about 16 weeks to check my cervix and the little one to make sure everything was okay. Once again our little one was moving all over the place, but the heartbeat was 152 and with the measurements looks to be weighing in at 6 ounces =). It was still too early to find out the gender so we have to wait until November 7. Here are a few pictures of our precious little one from this appointment.

We have already started the diaper buying process because people have been telling us " Do you know how much diapers are?" and "Kids are soooo expensive!" We understand, we wouldn't be having a child if we were not ready =). Also here are a couple presents we have gotten. Mike and Amberly got the little one some twins attire (Nate's favorite baseball team) and my sister got the little one a cute little onesie and a picture bank.
