Craziness!!

Fall in the Stultz household has been crazy, but we are making it work. My mom came to visit in the middle of October and we had a busy few days while she was here, we went to the pumpkin patch, showed her our new home, and went to the Chinese lantern festival that was being held in Spokane. We all had a great weekend!

Avery also turned 18 months in the middle of October and she is NOT a fan of the doctors. As soon as I put her on the table she cries (the entire time). She is on her little curve for height 30 1/2 inches (25%) but dropped on her curve for her weight 19 lbs. 11 oz. (1%) so the doctor wants to go back in December for a weight check. In the mean time we have been forcing her to eat and giving her a lot of high calorie foods, hopefully that helps. The doctor estimates that she will be about 5'1" or 5'2", always going to be our little peanut. She loves her mom and is definitely a mamas girl. She is talking more and more (hi, bye, baby, owie, uh-oh, dad, orry (sorry), tink you (thank you), me (mine), I want), nac (snack). She loves to flirt and waves and says hi to everyone when we are out running errands. She enjoys singing with her sister and taking her sister's things and running away, oh sisterly love.

My dad came over for a week at the end of October to start our remodel on our kitchen so for a month we had a nonfunctional kitchen. Currently we are functional (as of Friday) and are just waiting on putting the rest of the hardware on the cabinets, framing in the window, putting in the hood vent and the backsplash. We can't wait!

2nd half of Summer

August flew by! We had playdates, trips to the beach, parks with friends, visit to my grandparents cabin in Cle Elum, visit to the West Side to hang out with family, and lots of packing in between. We sold our house and will be moving right about the same time that school starts (not stressful at all starting the school year and packing up and moving to a house that needs updated with a 3 and 1 year old). We are so excited to move to our new home. Will post pictures of the new house soon.  Here are a few pictures over the month of August.

My Sweet Sweet Friend

On September 3, 2015 I received a text and a phone call letting me know that my dear friend Karen had passed away. She had a rough 6 weeks fighting an infection and her body was just not strong enough to fight any longer.

I will be forever grateful for you Karen. You were always the life of the party and encouraged me to love me and not be so concerned with my body image =). I loved you for that. We had many late night text chats, date nights after closing at starbucks, sushi dates, being your eye at school for you to watch out for Matty, guy talk, and just crazy girl nights with lots of laughs. I miss you like crazy and have so many time picked up my phone to text ya and realize you would not be there to respond. Instead I just talk to you while I am driving, getting ready, or whenever I just want to say hi.

I am so happy that your body is out of pain and you are in a much better place, until we meet again sweet friend. God Bless!

1st half of Summer

It has been so nice having the summer off with the girls (well most days). Some days are incredibly rough with a 3 year old and a little girl that is a new walker.  Although we are on a pretty good routine, which is very helpful. The girls love going to the gym while I workout. It is nice to have some "me" time. They also are going to daycare once a week to play with their friends and to give me some time to run errands, have appointments, etc... We have gone to the park with friends and also Nate and I had the chance to go to San Diego to visit some friends while the girls stayed with my mom. They had a blast and we enjoyed our time away =).  Crazy to think summer vacation is coming to an end, but looking forward to the month of August...lots of changes coming our way!

If I take a picture of Avery, Reese needs a picture too =)
