9 Months

Yay for the holidays! It has been so fun watching Reese stare in amazement at all the lights and presents. She celebrated 3 Christmas' (with Nate's family, My dad's side of the family, and also my mom's side of the family).

Some firsts this month. She is now feeding self mostly at every meal.  Her new food loves are eggs, bread and veggie burgers. She still enjoys her oatmeal, fruits, veggies, cheese and yogurt.

After 4 months of doing the army/seal crawl she has finally started to "normal" crawl. She is a very vocal little girl and God only knows what she will be like when she actually starts talking. She is still quite the mamas girl and loves to be around me every chance she gets. She says mama and dada (so cute to hear her say that). Another lovely first of hers is her love of the word no (j/k) when you tell her no, she usually screams and throws a little tantrum (right now they are pretty cute and kind of funny).

Cheers to another month and a new year!!!! Sorry for the amount of pictures....=)

8 Months

Our little Reese monster is turning into quite the independent little girl. A lot of firsts this month. She and I went to Portland for a girls shopping trip weekend. She did amazing on the plane and overall was a great little girl spending three days shopping (It helps to get a ton of attention =)).

She has started pulling herself on furniture and in her crib, and every day is getting more and more brave and letting go of the furniture with one hand. Reese also likes to feed herself.  She is not a very picky eater, but still does not care for green beans.  Reese has also started waving....she waves to everyone =)

We had a wonderful, relaxing Thanksgiving with Nate's family. Reese had a lot of firsts with food. She tried cranberries, turkey and dressing....she loved them all.  Looking forward to see her over the Christmas Holiday Season and seeing how she reacts to all of the hustle and bustle, lights, family gatherings, and presents.

7months

Short post this month, since I was so late with the 6 month post. We are still adjusting as a family to me going back to work full time. Paperwork has finally started to slow down so that has been nice, now trying to make it to the gym more...time to get back to it =). Reese is as busy as always, getting around the house more and more. We started meats this past week, so far she is not a big fan, but still loves her vegetables and fruit. We are excited to see what this month has in store for us......a few pictures of course.

6 Months

Our little girl just celebrated 6 months...she is turning into quite the little ham. She is such a happy baby and rarely cries, we are truly blessed. It has been a busy month. I started back to work full time and Nate took over the daily duties with Reese. He loves hanging out with her and misses her on Fridays when she goes to my friends for the day because Nate works.

Reese is on a pretty good routine these days, sleeps about 12 hours a night and takes consistently two naps, with a cat nap occasionally in the early evenings. She is quite the mover, still not fully crawling, but is getting faster and her moves daily.

Reese did well with her 6 month check up....she had 4 shots (the first two she did great, the second two...not so much) and she weighs 13 lb. 13 oz (10%) and is 26 3/4 (90%).

Going back to work has been challenging. It has been a rough start to the year with balancing everything and trying to find some time for me (still working on that one), but I will get there.  This past weekend Nate and I went to Denver to celebrate his 30th birthday and left Reese home with Nate's parents, we both missed her so much, but she did great and enjoyed staying with them, but was so excited to see us...I have never seen her so hyper and happy =). It was a great feeling.

First this month
*Fruit (apples, bananas, pears, peaches, and prunes)
*Two teeth (bottom middle)
*Lots and lots of giggles
*Working on waving
*Loves trying to get away as fast as she can when you say..."I'm going to get you"

Reese's 6 month pictures...thanks to my friend Liz
