New Years Eve

New Years Eve was filled with once again, lots of family time =), a yummy dinner, Mario Cart and Mario Party games, movie watching and cake making.  2020 was a year like no other.  It was a year that brought a lot of perspective and a lot of time to self reflect.  Cheers to 2021 with an even more open mind and understanding of this crazy world!

Yummy home made chocolate cake! Avery insisted on a 3 layer chocolate cake

Eating cake and watching a movie

Christmas

Christmas looked a little different (like most things this year).  We made the decision to not head over to the west side to visit family, so we facetimed with family to open gifts on Christmas Eve and presents were sent to the our family from family.  It was okay, the girls were ecstatic, but I missed the tradition of spending time with family.

Opening presents from each other on Christmas Eve

Homemade pretzels to snack on! They were AMAZING!

Nate got his PS5!, thanks to his buddy Beu =)

Reese received a DIY unicorn pillow from the Washington family for Christmas =)

Christmas! The girls have their own trees (although I do like a full tree Christmas morning, seems to be more magical)

Nate putting toys together and the girls playing while I make breakfast

Nate's parents stopped by for a little bit to see us and give us our presents =)

                                                              The aftermath of Christmas

                                                                 Prime rib for Dinner!

And a snowy night to end Christmas 2020.

Reese was in heaven! She built Legos ALL day on Christmas =)

December

Enjoying a lot of family time.  Trying to keep most traditions around this year, but we are not able to do a lot.  The girls have made Christmas treats, gingerbread houses and enjoyed walking through a park to see lights instead of doing the traditional Journey to the North Pole Cruise.

I was going a little stir crazy so I needed to get out of the house, so carwash for the win!

Christmas lights with Stella and Sam!

                                                                  Christmas Cookies

This little owl ran into our window, worried that it was hurt, but when we got                                            back  from work the owl was gone.

RADDISH kids for the win- Alpine pankcakes =)

                                                             Gingerbread House time!

Updated the girls' area with new bookshelves and a new TV
