Quarantine Life

Well the last 2 1/2 months has been somewhat of a blur.  Going from the girls going to school and me going to work, to us being home all day every day has been quite the change.  Most days are okay, but some days I feel like I am losing on all aspects.  Working full time from home and trying to stay on top of the girls' school work and screen time has been incredibly challenging, trying not to complain because I know everyone is in the same boat, but it is HARD AF.  We are trying to make the best of it and definitely not taking life for granted, but I never thought I would say I actually miss going to work =).

To pass the time, Nate and I (as well as the girls) have worked out a lot, gone on a lot of family walks, cooked a lot, done a lot of puzzles and had an abundance of family time.  I am hopeful that the phases will be successful and we can start looking past being at home all day every day...

Avery is 6

Our baby girl is 6! Avery continues to be loud, energetic and extremely social.  She beats to her own drum with her imagination and is crushing school.  This year she tried out soccer (was not a fan), but still continues to like to play at home, she is our dancing queen and continues to enjoy ballet.  She is still rocking the 15% for weight and 50% for height (our little petite mini).

She bring so much energy to our house and always keeps us on our toes.  She loves school and her favorite subject is Math, but we are so proud of her gaining her confidence in her academic skills with math, reading, and writing.

She loves playing outside, obstacle courses, walks, riding her bike, using her imagination, playing school, and putting on shows for her family.  I cannot wait to see what the future holds for her.

So excited with her costume/outfit from the Perrine Family

Easter

Easter was pretty quiet this year, but still made time to dye Easter eggs, Easter baskets, and an Easter Egg hunt.

Reese is 8

Cannot believe my first born is 8! She is such a smart and sensitive little girl.  She is our introvert and more on the shy end.  She continues to love school and enjoy soccer and being silly.  she is crushing the 78% for height and weight and is quite the strong little girl.  Besides playing soccer she likes to go on walks, bike rides and enjoys rock climbing (bouldering) with Nate.

At school her favorite subject is math, but she loves just about everything about school (minus her bus ride), so I try and pick her up from school as often as I can.  She likes to be goofy, put on shows, help me and Nate around the house and pester her sister =).  In the Fall, she will starting a new school (yes, this is her 4th school that she will be attending), but a new school is being built 3 miles from our house, so I am excited for her!

Reese's birthday looked a little different this year, she was crushed that she could not have her friends birthday party at the bouldering gym, but hoping to have her birthday there some time this summer, but we enjoyed our day at home with lots of presents, spaghetti for dinner and cake and ice cream for dessert.

Excited to open her presents =)
