June was a crazy month! Reese finished preschool and enjoyed every minute of it. She is so excited for kindergarten (mostly to ride the school bus =)). She had a concert and did a great job. It has been so much fun watching her grow over the year and I am so excited to watch her blossom even more as she enters kindergarten in the fall.
I had the chance to go to graduation again with some of my favorite students. I had the privilege of reading their names as they walked across the stage and I truly wish them the best as they move on to life after high school.

Reese's Dance Recital =)
Reese participated in a dance class once a week all school year this year. She absolutely loved it and had a blast at her recital.....she asked the next day when she could have another recital =).
Sister and Cousin Weekend!
My sister and niece Alaina came over for a weekend to visit and have a girls weekend. We all had a blast and enjoyed their stay =). We stayed busy and packed in a lot in the few days that they were here!
Mini birthday party to celebrate all 3 of their birthdays =)
"hike" to the Spokane falls and a picnic lunch

Cousin Love
Avery turns 3 and Easter!
Craziness that Avery is 3 and also that her birthday happened to land on Easter. She did not mind one bit. The day was about her. We had Nate's family over for brunch and an Easter egg hunt. Reese found the "10 dollar golden egg." Avery loved opening presents and loved everything she got. With my family across the state, the girls always get a slew of presents that are mailed as well. Both girls love checking the mailbox during the week of their birthday to see if any packages arrived =).
Avery is quite the character these days. She can definitely be a challenge (especially around meal times, dinner mainly) but she is also the type to tell you she loves you 500 times a day.
She loves: fruit snacks, her family, minnie mouse, skipping, playing outside, watching Reese at dance class, shopping, and "B" her blanket, and going on hikes.
Dislikes: meal time (especially dinner), bugs, losing out on things, car washes =)
Avery's treats she brought to daycare to celebrate her birthday

Portland (little getaway)
My Mom and Paul came over to Spokane to watch the girls for a few days so Nate and I were able to get away for a few days to Portland. We went to a couple Portland Trailblazer games, relaxed, and went to a few breweries....it was a nice little getaway.
At the game
Nate helping a car get up the hill...highly entertaining =)
Spring Break
Nate had to work all week during my spring break, so it was a great chance to have a spring cleaning week! I was able to deep clean most of the house, the girls enjoyed having a lazy week playing and we were able to go on a family hike....the girls are now obsessed with hikes =).
Reese lost her first tooth!
Reese turns 5 =)
Reese is 5!!! Absolute craziness, she is such a joy and is a lover of life. She got her 5 year shots and did amazing, she is in the 75% for height and weight. She is all set for kindergarten and is so excited, although I think she is even more excited to ride the school bus. We have decided to have her go to our home school so she will be attending Shiloh Hills in the fall.
Reese had a wonderful birthday celebrating with family and friends. Her theme this year was Elena of Avalor! She had a blast playing with her friends, decorating cookies, eating lunch, and breaking a pinata.

February Visit to the West Side
Because of my crazy work schedule this year, we were unable to go to the West Side to visit my family for Christmas. The girls and I made it over for a few days in February. It was much needed for all of us to get away for a few days from Spokane.....it was a long winter! We had lots of fun visiting with family and lots of playing. Reese and Alaina even got to go to a princess party at Alaina's gym. They had a blast. Avery was a couple months shy of being 3 so she could not go, she was pretty bummed.
Cousin time!
