Reese is 3!

Happy happy 3rd Birthday Reese Kenadie!  She continues to be a strong willed, independent, fun loving and spicy little girl. There is never a dull moment with her. She loves her sister, loves to play, watch movies, dance, sing, and currently is into acting out scenes from Frozen.  She is a great eater most days, still takes great naps and loves to read stories before bed.

Loves: Crackers, getting treats after dinner, tinker bell, movie nights, disney junior shows/characters, going to daycare to play with friends, going on walks, her family, legos, coloring, painting, reading, playing with kitchen, helping cook/bake, learning, using her imagination, the park, singing and dancing

Reese tends to have tantrums at home or in the car......would rather have that then have meltdowns while we are out and about =). She is potty trained, but still is working on staying dry at night time.  She now has a big girl bed and we changed her room to more of a big girl room for her birthday.  This was also the first year that I had a little party for her with her friends. She had 5 of her friends come over for a couple games, lunch, cupcakes, and to play.  She had a blast and it was so fun to watch the kids interact with each other.  At night we celebrated with family so needless to say she had a full birthday celebration.  Looking forward to a great year with Miss Reese.

Avery's little personality is starting to shine =). She continues to be such a joy and a very happy little girl. She loves to cruise along furniture and pretend like she is talking on her phone (uses her hand as a phone or mom's phone).  She still prefers to eat pureed food, but there are those occasional days when she will eat finger food without throwing a fit.  Eating is not high on her priority list.  We are working on teaching her signs, but she would rather just scream =(.

10 Months

Avery has had many firsts this year. She is finally "normal" crawling, pulling herself up to stand and climbing up the stairs(one of her favorite activities). She loves to clap, growl (like a tiger), play with her sister, bananas, and books.  Our little petite peanut.

Weight: 15 lbs. 7.5 oz (less than 5th%)
Height: 27 1/4" tall (25th%)

She is an amazing sleeper and loves naps and bedtime. Avery sleeps 12-13 hours a night and most days takes one nap 2 1/2-3 hours....although once in awhile she likes to take a second nap in the early evening.

Other loves: playing peek a boo, clapping, laughing, waving and playing with anything she can get her hands on =).

Always wanting to stand

Eating like a big girl, she gets highly distracted by her sister

9 Months

Miss Chill is 9 months old! She has started to learn her voice and she lets us know it. Avery has developed quite the squeal when she does not get her way or when something is taken away from her (mostly by Reese). She loves to be held so she can see what's going on, but also likes to army crawl everywhere. I keep waiting for the day for her to "normal" crawl, but she is going on three months of her own little crawl, so who knows if the "normal" crawl will ever happen.

Firsts
Squeal
Clapping
Lots of giggles (loves laughing at her sister)
Lot of flapping...so happy
Hard to get Avery to stay still when changing her diaper
Finger foods (loves to feed herself, but she gets distracted often by her thumb)

Sporting her 6-9 month outfit...she is getting there =)

Christmas

I love this time of year, Nate on the other hand is a bit of a bah-humbug, but surprisingly this year he was great (I think the girls have something to do with that =)). Avery was excited about the paper and just "stuff" that was around and Reese loved everything! It was so fun watching her open presents.  Both girls received lots of toys/books/crafts so we cleaned out and donated 3 boxes of toys. It always feels so good to clean house =).

Avery got a Fox piggy bank from Santa
