December

Enjoying a lot of family time.  Trying to keep most traditions around this year, but we are not able to do a lot.  The girls have made Christmas treats, gingerbread houses and enjoyed walking through a park to see lights instead of doing the traditional Journey to the North Pole Cruise.

I was going a little stir crazy so I needed to get out of the house, so carwash for the win!

Christmas lights with Stella and Sam!

                                                                  Christmas Cookies

This little owl ran into our window, worried that it was hurt, but when we got                                            back  from work the owl was gone.

RADDISH kids for the win- Alpine pankcakes =)

                                                             Gingerbread House time!

Updated the girls' area with new bookshelves and a new TV

Fall

The girls started school a little later than normal (September 21) but are in person full time.  It has been so good for them to be learning at school.  They are not phased by having to wear a mask and I love that they have been so resilient to the new "normal"

We were excited that gyms opened back up again and that Reese was able to do small group soccer practice and Avery was able to do ballet.  We enjoyed a nice family dinner for Nate's birthday and worked on putting Diagon Alley together (Lego set) as a family.  We also splurged and decided to get add to our family, meet Ginny =).  She has been such a joy to have.

Reese was able to have a fun little sleep over to celebrates a friends birthday

Zombie enchiladas during Halloween week for dinner one night =)

Reese getting a COVID test because of a symptom....COVID free!

Carving Pumpkins

Halloween looked a little different this year, we had brunch with friends and then I put on a candy hunt inside the house for the girls and we watched a Halloween movie

Got to have a girls weekend away to celebrate a dear friend who kicked Cancers ASS!

The girls and I headed over for a quick weekend to meet my new niece Brynn who was born in October.  I had not been over since February, and not sure the next time I will head back over that way.  The girls and I loved spending time with family, even it was short.

Quick visit by Jill, who I have known since Jr. High =)

Thanksgiving was just the 4 of us, the girls enjoying appetizers before dinner
