11 Months

Our Crazy Munchkin is 11 months old. She is still active as ever and has turned into quite the chatty Kathy and loves playing in her room and pulling her books off her shelf and her clothes out of her drawers.  She has not ventured away from furniture or with the help of me or Nate to walk with her. She gets quite the kick out of seeing how fast she can crawl. Reese loves to go up and down the stairs. She would do it all day if you let her.  New words of the month are "Hi" and 'Wow" although I think she thinks she is saying way more. She is such an animated little girl. She loves to see pictures and videos...especially of her and still enjoys watching sports on TV and shaking her booty to music.  Crazy to think Reese is almost 1. A big month for us, Reese turning one and Reese excited to meet her baby cousin that has the same due date as Reese did (CRAZY!!!). We shall see when Miss Baby Washington arrives.  A few pictures of the past month.

10 Months

A Huge month for Miss Reese. We started out the new year with having a sick little girl...She was sick  for about 2 1/2 weeks. It was incredibly tough to feel so helpless. Although it was a long 2 1/2 weeks, we made it through =). Reese had her 10 month check up and she is doing awesome. She recently had another tooth pop through and the Dr. said she has 3 more top teeth making their way down too =). Fun times!!!! Besides the new teeth we have the green light to feed Reese anything....except honey.

Reese's stats 17.5 lbs (25%)
                   28.25" (50%)

Reese is all about the food these days, eating so much on her own...a very independent little girl.  She continues to cruise around the furniture and is starting to enjoy walking with the help of her walker toys.  She is a talking machine these days (well babbles) and tries to mimic a lot that we do.  She waves all the time and is currently into clapping, dancing, saying "What's that?" and "Oh, Boy!"

Reese's hair is finally starting to grow

9 Months

Yay for the holidays! It has been so fun watching Reese stare in amazement at all the lights and presents. She celebrated 3 Christmas' (with Nate's family, My dad's side of the family, and also my mom's side of the family).

Some firsts this month. She is now feeding self mostly at every meal.  Her new food loves are eggs, bread and veggie burgers. She still enjoys her oatmeal, fruits, veggies, cheese and yogurt.

After 4 months of doing the army/seal crawl she has finally started to "normal" crawl. She is a very vocal little girl and God only knows what she will be like when she actually starts talking. She is still quite the mamas girl and loves to be around me every chance she gets. She says mama and dada (so cute to hear her say that). Another lovely first of hers is her love of the word no (j/k) when you tell her no, she usually screams and throws a little tantrum (right now they are pretty cute and kind of funny).

Cheers to another month and a new year!!!! Sorry for the amount of pictures....=)

8 Months

Our little Reese monster is turning into quite the independent little girl. A lot of firsts this month. She and I went to Portland for a girls shopping trip weekend. She did amazing on the plane and overall was a great little girl spending three days shopping (It helps to get a ton of attention =)).

She has started pulling herself on furniture and in her crib, and every day is getting more and more brave and letting go of the furniture with one hand. Reese also likes to feed herself.  She is not a very picky eater, but still does not care for green beans.  Reese has also started waving....she waves to everyone =)

We had a wonderful, relaxing Thanksgiving with Nate's family. Reese had a lot of firsts with food. She tried cranberries, turkey and dressing....she loved them all.  Looking forward to see her over the Christmas Holiday Season and seeing how she reacts to all of the hustle and bustle, lights, family gatherings, and presents.
