Easter
Happy Easter! Reese is getting to the age where she enjoys the Easter baskets and Easter egg hunts. We had a nice brunch at Nate's parents house and then had an Easter egg hunt. Reese was sure that there were Easter eggs way up in the tree...turns out they were just pine cones =)

Avery is 1
Where has this year gone. I cannot believe Avery is 1! Our little toothless, petite one year old has been such a joy for our family.
She loves her family, attention, her big sister, her dog, bath time, sleeping, her bottles, playing peek a boo, sugar, and climbing stairs.
Her dislikes: being left in the dust, meal time (no surprise because she is only about 17 lbs.), sippy cups, and getting her diaper changed.
She loves to eat some times, but its not high on her priority list. If she could live on crackers she would be golden. She has her days where she eats well, but mostly it is just a few bites here and there. Avery has tiny feet (wearing 3-6 month shoes) and is in 6-9 month clothes. She is very active and always on the go, although she is not walking on her own, she will cruise along furniture and walk with her walking toys and walk holding onto your hands, but immediately drops to the floor and crawls when we let go.
Happy Birthday Avery! Looking forward to our next adventures over the next year =)

Reese is 3!
Happy happy 3rd Birthday Reese Kenadie! She continues to be a strong willed, independent, fun loving and spicy little girl. There is never a dull moment with her. She loves her sister, loves to play, watch movies, dance, sing, and currently is into acting out scenes from Frozen. She is a great eater most days, still takes great naps and loves to read stories before bed.
Loves: Crackers, getting treats after dinner, tinker bell, movie nights, disney junior shows/characters, going to daycare to play with friends, going on walks, her family, legos, coloring, painting, reading, playing with kitchen, helping cook/bake, learning, using her imagination, the park, singing and dancing
Reese tends to have tantrums at home or in the car......would rather have that then have meltdowns while we are out and about =). She is potty trained, but still is working on staying dry at night time. She now has a big girl bed and we changed her room to more of a big girl room for her birthday. This was also the first year that I had a little party for her with her friends. She had 5 of her friends come over for a couple games, lunch, cupcakes, and to play. She had a blast and it was so fun to watch the kids interact with each other. At night we celebrated with family so needless to say she had a full birthday celebration. Looking forward to a great year with Miss Reese.

Avery's little personality is starting to shine =). She continues to be such a joy and a very happy little girl. She loves to cruise along furniture and pretend like she is talking on her phone (uses her hand as a phone or mom's phone). She still prefers to eat pureed food, but there are those occasional days when she will eat finger food without throwing a fit. Eating is not high on her priority list. We are working on teaching her signs, but she would rather just scream =(.
