3 Months

3 months already...I feel like time is really flying by.  Reese is getting so big and becoming so much more independent. We recently went and visited my family in Puyallup and Reese was able to meet all of them at a family potluck that my mom put together. I was so happy that Reese was finally able to meet them. We also just went to Leavenworth for one of Nate's childhood buddy's weddings. Reese was a champ and did great. I enjoy Leavenworth, but Nate was not a big fan, kind of a bah humbug....guess we will not be visiting there again (as a family). Nate said there were too many people (silly guys).  Other then that Nate and I are just enjoying watching Reese grow and become quite the little spitfire with her high squeals and having preferences already (would much rather stand than sit since she has discovered that).

*Still enjoys making bubbles
*Seems to develop a new sound every day
*Still a great sleeper at night (getting better with naps)
*Loves to smile and hear her own voice
*Gripping rattles and other toys
*Loves putting everything in her mouth.
*Rolling over from back to stomach.

3 Months...could not get a smile out of her

Bumbo with the tray addition! She loves knocking the toys on the ground

Still trying to grasp the whole bumbo thing

11 weeks

Reese is getting so big, we are about to take our next road trip just her and me to the west side of the state to visit friends and family. This will be the first time that Reese gets to meet a lot of my family and a few of my close friends. She is developing quite the personality and is becoming quite the mamas girl =).  She is still a great sleeper at night and enjoys running errands and visiting with friends. She is always on her best behavior when we are out.  Below are a few recent pictures and a video (it is so hard getting pictures of her, so I have started to take videos of her to get her smiles and her squeals...still working on trying to get her to laugh, we practice every day =).
A few new accomplishments
*Lots of smiles
*Squeals when she is mad and happy
*Trying out new toys and grasping onto things
*Figuring out her tongue
*Blowing bubbles

2 Months

Reese is two months old and I cannot believe how much she is changing! Her two month check up went great. She is weighing 9 lbs. 9 oz. (25%) and is 22 3/4 inches tall (75%)....as of now she is definitely taking after Nate. The doctor said everything is looking great and we can let her sleep through the night now (he did not want us to until she was two months because she was so skinny for awhile). I told Reese that she can start sleeping through the night, but last night she woke up at 3:30, but then went back to sleep until 7:30 after I fed her...I am hoping it won't take too long for her to figure it out =).  She is smiling more and more and trying to talk all the time. She is becoming more content with hanging out and just watching everything that is going on around her. She has recently started grasping things, like my hair, and becoming more interactive with everyone and her brothers (Megatron and Kratos (she absolutely adores them).

Reese and I went on our first road trip to visit my dad. It was a short visit, but she did great. I am hoping for another great road trip in a few weeks when Reese and I head over to Puyallup to see family and friends. Here are a few pictures of Reese in the last couple of weeks!

Reese is trying really hard to not wear newborn clothes all the time (0-3 month outfit =))

6 weeks!

Reese is 6 weeks old today and I had my 6 week checkup. Reese is getting to be quite the ham, she loves to smile and kick her legs while she is having tummy time, laying and "playing" with her toys, and being changed.  She is cooing more and more and the past couple days has developed a high pitch squeal....not sure what that is all about (and not sure if I like it =).  She is still a great sleeper at night and this week we officially started the tough love during the day...which means not so much cuddling with me and Nate and taking naps in her crib. So far so good, most of her naps are in her crib, but there are the occasional naps in her cradle, swing, or floor.  Reese is still a tiny little peanut. It turns out that she was a lazy eater so I can no longer breastfeed because the Dr. wanted to keep track of how much milk she was actually getting. So with me pumping and supplementing she has finally reached 8 lbs. on Friday.....so thank goodness we do not have to go back until her 2 month check up.

My 6 week check up went great. I was cleared to start working out again (already have an appointment with my trainer on Monday =)). I am back to my prepregnancy weight, but my clothes do not fit quite like I want them too, so I told my trainer I want to be HOT by fall, but HOTTER by winter =)....we shall see. I am feeling great and I think I am starting to get this whole parent thing down. I am enjoying every minute of it.

Here are a few pictures....and a video (I finally captured her rolling over!)

Newborn Pictures

Here are Reese's newborn pictures. My friend Amy did an amazing job. Little Miss Reese was quite the little crab pot on this day. These were taken when she was 8 days old.
